Andrea Bocelli has teamed up with his children, Matteo and Virginia, to create a special family Christmas album.

Family Christmas is a collection that features classic carols reimagined for three voices, alongside original songs such as The Greatest Gift, which has garnered over two million views on YouTube since its debut on October 11 (watch below).

“We’re sharing our humble, intimate, and heartfelt present to anyone who wants to experience the Christmas soundtrack from the Bocelli household,” the family trio shares about the album.

The latest release, Feliz Navidad, is a trio rendition of the timeless holiday favorite, accompanied by a charming new music video set in a cozy winter wonderland.

The video opens with 10-year-old Virginia dozing on the sofa, gently awakened by her father Andrea. Strumming an acoustic guitar, he encourages her to “cantare forte… senza paura” (“sing loudly… without fear”). The young vocalist cuddles the family dog and playfully taps her father and brother on the nose as she spins around their festively decorated living room.

“There’s nothing more beautiful than making music with your children,” Andrea reflects on the album experience.

Matteo adds, “I consider it a true privilege. Singing together and sharing that holiday warmth with my family is incredibly special. Christmas is about creating memories to treasure forever. It’s thrilling to think that our album might be found wrapped beneath someone’s Christmas tree.”

Family Christmas was officially released on October 21 under Decca/Capitol Records, celebrating the musical legacy passed down through generations of the Bocelli family.

This festive album follows the tremendous success of Andrea Bocelli’s Believe in Christmas concert, which was streamed worldwide during the 2020 lockdown. The concert featured a touching duet at the empty Teatro Regio di Parma, starring eight-year-old Virginia’s vocals and harmonies alongside her father’s guitar and voice.
