After months of soaring success following her Britain’s Got Talent victory, musical theatre star Sydnie Christmas has found herself at the center of speculation — not for her powerhouse vocals, but for her personal life.
The My Way singer recently appeared at the Oasis Live 25 weekend in Liverpool, where she performed and celebrated with close friends. Sharing photos from the event, she captioned, “Rounding off an epic weekend. Definitely one to remember with my favourite boys. Now back to work — I have an album to write.”

The post, which showed Sydnie wearing matching shirts with a male companion, quickly fueled chatter online about her relationship status. Rumors began circulating that the Britain’s Got Talent winner had split from her longtime boyfriend, Italian actor and singer Max Rizzo, known for his work in The Starlight Express.

But Sydnie isn’t interested in turning her private life into public debate.
In a recent statement, the 30-year-old performer asked fans and media alike to shift the focus back to what truly matters — her music. “I’m writing, recording, and putting my heart into this album,” she said. “That’s where my energy is. I just hope people can allow me a bit of a private life outside of that.”
The star also admitted that her rising fame has brought unwanted attention behind the scenes. With over 200,000 followers across her platforms, Sydnie shared that not all messages have been positive. “Since BGT, my inbox has been full — and not just with love and support,” she revealed. “There’s been a lot of unwanted messages too, and it’s something I’m learning to manage.”
The conversation around her personal life comes just weeks after Sydnie addressed a separate wave of fan concern over her health. Many followers had sent worried messages after she appeared on social media without makeup, prompting her to clarify the situation with her usual humor and honesty.

“Just got to say something,” she told fans in an Instagram Story. “I posted a video with no makeup, and suddenly everyone thought I was ill. Guys, I’m fine — I just haven’t got any makeup on! It’s so funny that in this day and age, the second you go natural, people assume something’s wrong.”
Since winning Britain’s Got Talent in 2024, Sydnie has had a whirlwind year. She released her debut album My Way, performed at the Royal Variety Performance for King Charles, and even spent time in Los Angeles with stars like Michael Bublé and Jennifer Hudson. Over the summer, she took on the role of Cruella de Vil in 101 Dalmatians: The Musical, alongside Jeff Brazier and *Aston Merrygold.

But despite her growing list of accomplishments, Sydnie remains remarkably grounded. “I don’t get noticed, ever,” she joked in a recent interview. “I get on the Tube and no one bats an eyelid. I’m not that famous!”
Her humility, paired with an extraordinary voice that feels both cinematic and soulful, continues to make her one of Britain’s most beloved new stars.
And while the rumor mill keeps spinning, Sydnie’s message couldn’t be clearer — she’s focused on creating, not explaining.
