A CHARITY single in support of Palestine has topped the UK charts and become the best-selling download of Christmas week.
The single has surpassed Taylor Swift, Wham!, Ed Sheeran and Kylie Minogue, raising tens of thousands of pounds for Gaza in the process.
The team behind Together For Palestine, which organised a sold-out concert in Wembley earlier this year – raising more than £2 million for Gaza – released their single Lullaby in the hopes to reach Christmas number one.
Kylie took the official Christmas number one spot with XMAS, with Lullaby reaching number five when the list was announced on December 19.
However, the single topped the UK’s official Downloads Chart.
The single involves a number of UK and Palestinian musicians joining forces, including Brian Eno, Celeste, Bastille’s Dan Smith and Little Mix singer Leigh-Anne.

In response to the single’s success, the Together for Palestine said: “A massive thank you to everyone who got behind Lullaby.
“We couldn’t have done it without you.
“The Christmas Number 1 race offers a snapshot of who we are as a country. This year, it showed that we refuse to look away.
“In 2025, something shifted. The fear is breaking. The silence is fracturing.”
Lullaby is a reimagined rendition of the traditional Palestinian folk song Yamma Mweel El Hawa (O song of longing, mother).
All profits from the single will go to Choose Love’s Together For Palestine Fund, which supports three Palestinian-led organisations: Taawon, Palestine Children’s Relief Fund and Palestine Medical Relief Service.
