They will perform the classic album in full
Europe have announced The Final Countdown 40th Anniversary Tour, celebrating the four-decade milestone of their third studio album ‘The Final Countdown’ and its blockbuster title track.
The Swedish rockers kick off the tour at Glasgow SEC Armadillo on Wednesday 30th September 2026, and they then play Wolverhampton Civic Hall (Friday 2nd October) and London Eventim Apollo Hammersmith (Saturday 3rd October) before hitting mainland Europe.
The quintet will perform ‘The Final Countdown’ in its entirety, alongside other tracks from their distinguished career.

The support act at all UK and European dates is Canadian rock n’ rollers The Damn Truth, while GUN also perform at the shows in Glasgow, Wolverhampton and London.
Europe frontman Joey Tempest says: “In a blink of an eye 40 years have passed and we’re about to perform TFC in full for only the second time in our career, together with other hits and our favourite songs from our upcoming album. This will be amazing – we’re working on making the production and show match this very special occasion.”
Tickets to the UK dates go on sale from Planet Rock Tickets at 10am on Friday 28th November.
Set for release in September 2026, Europe’s as-yet-untitled 12th studio album was recorded at RMV studios in Stockholm in October 2025 with famed producer Tom Dalgety (Ghost, The Pixies, Royal Blood, Opeth).
‘The Final Countdown’ catapulted Europe to international fame with the title track single reaching No1 in 25 countries around the globe.
The multi-platinum selling album topped the charts around the globe with four top 40 singles and over 60 weeks on the American billboard charts.
