Jadyn Rylee: The Musical Prodigy Taking Canada—and the Internet—By Storm

Stairway To Heaven" COVER by Jadyn Rylee

Meet Jadyn Rylee, a rising young star from Canada who, at just 19 years old, has already built an online empire with more than 368,000 YouTube subscribers. Born on February 14, 2006, Jadyn’s musical gifts appeared almost as soon as she could talk. Her parents, Colin and Tara, say she started singing at age two, and by three she was confidently performing Miley Cyrus’ “The Climb.” It didn’t take long for her family to realize they had a rare talent on their hands.

One of Jadyn’s most iconic performances is her powerful duet with YouTube drumming sensation Sina — a cover of Simon & Garfunkel’s “Sound of Silence”, inspired by Disturbed’s haunting arrangement. The video has amassed more than 22 million views and continues to draw fans from around the world.

Finding proper vocal training for such a young powerhouse wasn’t easy. Most schools refused to work with children under eight, but her parents never gave up. Their dedication paid off when they found renowned vocalist Aura Urziceanu, who began coaching Jadyn at age six. After two years, Jadyn transitioned to working with Sarah Hyde, a performer and vocal coach who helped shape both her technical ability and her stage presence.

Jadyn launched her YouTube channel in 2015, when she was just nine. Since then, her covers of iconic hits have collectively earned over 77 million views — an impressive milestone for any artist, let alone someone who achieved it before turning fourteen. Her most-viewed upload remains “Sound of Silence”, which alone sits at over 19 million views.

In addition to her online success, Jadyn shines onstage as a member of the Mini Pop Kids, touring Canada, filming commercials, and mastering choreography — all while balancing school and family life.

But Jadyn isn’t satisfied with only covering songs. She traveled from her home near Toronto to Nashville, where she collaborated with singer, songwriter, and producer Curt Ryle of Big Matador Records to create her first original album, “Voice of Change.” Driven by compassion and empathy, Jadyn hopes her music can uplift others, especially children who face bullying.

Her achievements don’t stop there. In 2019, she won Female Vocalist of the Year at the Josie Music Awards. She also attended the Canadian Talent and Model Convention, where she earned a role in “Flag Day,” directed by Sean Penn. She even attended the film’s premiere at the Cannes Film Festival, where it received a four-minute standing ovation — a surreal moment for any teenager.

Though she’s frequently in the spotlight, Jadyn keeps her personal life grounded. She doesn’t have a boyfriend — not surprising given her packed schedule — and instead spends her time focused on music, school, and her close-knit family. Her younger sister Devyn, a regular on her social media, is often seen cheering her on.

And what about her net worth? Estimates place it at around $500,000, an astounding figure for someone not yet old enough to vote or legally drink. Through her performances, merchandise, and growing presence in film and music, Jadyn has built a career that many adults can only dream of.

With her talent, determination, and ever-growing fanbase, Jadyn Rylee is unquestionably one to watch. To follow her continued journey, check out her YouTube channel or follow her on Facebook.
