Jim Henson’s cult movie Labyrinth, starring David Bowie as evil goblin king Jareth, will be performed live in concert in 2026 to celebrate its 40th anniversary.
Originally released at cinemas in 1986, musical fantasy film Labyrinth was only a modest success at the box office, however it was a huge success on home video and television, gaining an ever-growing cult following.
Following a previously announced November 2025 run, the next leg of Jim Henson’s Labyrinth: In Concert tour takes in 13 UK shows in April 2026, and it will feature the full movie accompanied by a live band playing the soundtrack.
David Bowie recorded five original songs for the film; ‘Underground’, ‘Magic Dance’, ‘Chilly Down’, ‘As the World Falls Down’, and ‘Within You’.

Jim Henson’s Labyrinth: In Concert tour opens at Oxford New Theatre on Monday 13th April and wraps up at Poole Lighthouse on Thursday 30th April.
The 2026 tour also visits Brighton, Southend, Portsmouth, Liverpool, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Bath, Nottingham, York, Birmingham and Manchester.
Tickets go on sale from Planet Rock Tickets at 10am on Friday 17th October.
